Landlocked Mermaid: A Narrative Fashion Film Project

I’ve fallen under a love spell with the San Francisco bay. For the past four years I have worked and played as a fashion photographer and found myself repeatedly shooting near the San Francisco ocean, sunsets, and foggy storms. In 6 weeks I will be moving to New York to pursue filmmaking (a long time desire of mine). Before I leave the west coast, it’s my ambition to pen a love letter to SF with a short film— more specifically, a film about a landlocked mermaid who must solve the mystery of where she came from and where she is going.

My dear friend Chantel and model Miki Hamano are filming in 2 weeks and need help renting camera equipment and designing a mermaid dream sequence.
